10 things you probably don’t know about me

If anyone is interested in getting to know the face of Petit Pithivier a little more, I have compiled a few things about me which are mildly interesting, probably boring and nothing to do with baking, but you’ll get to know me better. Let me know if you want some more!

1.  I have a cat called dexter, he’s black & white and named after the well loved serial killer who kills bad people. Although this dexter doesn’t kill people, just innocent mice. Here’s a picture of him as a kitten cos who doesn’t love animal babies.

2.  I really don’t like white chocolate. ITS NOT CHOCOLATE if we’re being technical, it doesn’t contain any cocoa solids which is what makes chocolate, chocolate.

3.  I’ve never seen star wars. Apparently that’s gasp worthy. I’m not going to watch it either.

4.   I’ve won the euromillions 4 times, it still counts even when its £3 right?

5.  I’m an anxious person even though I come across calm and collected (mostly). My brain is constantly whirring and coming up with ridiculous things to worry about.

6.  I had to have 10 teeth extractions at once when I was 17 as my baby teeth weren’t falling out on their own. They took 3 out, then two weeks later 4 out, then another two weeks later the last 3. I had a liquid diet for months. Soup was my life.

7.  I have scoliosis. Part of the reason I’m self-employed is so I can work around when I’m in pain and can take as many breaks as I need to. I might do a blog post about this so stay tuned if you’d like to know more about it.

8.  I tore some ligaments in my right ankle in primary school and had to have a cast and crutches. Everyone wanted a go on them so I rented the crutches for a few minutes to my friends in exchange for sweets, or 5p. Always the entrepreneur.

9.  I’m scared of slugs, why are they so slimy? Why do they scream if you put salt on them? What do they really do for the eco-system? Why do they come into your house at night for you to step on bare-foot when you’re getting a glass of water? Just why?
